The Cellar
Two things a month, one of which you would never have chosen. €29 monthly, or €78 for three months — which is €9 less and the tier that includes a meal kit.
The Cellar exists because the most interesting jar in our kitchen is never the one we set out to buy. Every month we send a small-batch blend or sauce — sometimes a Savora line, often something from a maker we have been buying from for years — with a card explaining what it is, how it was made, and three specific things to do with it this week.

What has actually gone out
- March. Nightshade, plus a jar of Szabó smoked paprika from Kalocsa milled the week it shipped. Card: black beans, three ways.
- April. Green Market and a bottle of unfiltered verjus from Poggio Casale. Card: the fifteen-second cucumber side.
- May. Green Sesame and a bag of Karaman sesame to toast yourself, because the difference is startling. Card: cold noodles.
- June. Burnt Honey & Chilli and a slab of Betuwe comb honey from Boomgaard Ten Velde. Card: carrots, halloumi, fried chicken.
Rules we hold ourselves to
- No repeats within twelve months. If you have had it, you will not get it again.
- Every box contains at least one thing we did not make. We are a kitchen, not a monopoly.
- Skip a month from your account page up to five days before despatch, no reason needed.
- Cancel in two clicks. No retention offers, no phone call, no “are you sure” loop.
Practicalities
Boxes leave the kitchen on the second Tuesday of the month and fit through a standard Dutch letterbox slot — no signature, no missed-delivery card. Shipping is included across the EU; UK and Switzerland add €6 a month for duties and paperwork.
