Chef & Brand Partnerships
Four ways we work with other kitchens and brands, and the one condition attached to all of them: your name goes on the jar next to ours.
Chef collaborations
We make one collaboration blend or sauce a quarter with a working kitchen. You bring the idea and the palate, we bring the sourcing, the 40-jar batches and the food-safety paperwork. Split is 50/50 on gross margin, the run is 600 to 1,200 jars, and it is a single run — we do not keep selling your recipe after the collaboration ends unless you want us to.
- Bistro Halve Maan, Utrecht — Anise & Bay Braise blend, 800 jars, sold out in nine days.
- Kade 7, Rotterdam — Smoked Tomato Butter, 600 jars, now a repeat winter line.
- Osteria Piccola, Antwerp — Guanciale Salt, 1,200 jars, still on their tables.
- Café Nordwal, Berlin — Rye & Caraway Rub, 900 jars, autumn 2025.
Cooking with us in your kitchen
Twenty-three restaurants buy Slow Red and Cellar Salt in 2.5 kg catering formats. It is the same recipe as the retail jar, filled into food-service tubs, at trade price with a 12-tub minimum. Chefs get the batch sheet with every delivery, including the pH and the tomato lot.
Brand collaborations
We do a small number a year with people whose materials we already use — a knife maker, a mill, a ceramicist, a wine importer. What works: a shared box, a shared dinner, a genuinely co-developed product. What does not: paying us to put a logo on a crate. We have said no to eleven of those and will keep saying no.

Press and content
Samples, high-resolution photography, founder interviews and kitchen access for shoots: [email protected]. We do not pay for coverage, we do not run affiliate deals, and we will not send an unbranded jar for a “blind” review that is really an ad.
Pitching us
One email to [email protected], addressed to Tobias Renner. Tell us who you are, what you want to make, what volume you can actually sell, and when. We answer every pitch inside two weeks; the noes get a reason.
